Field Applications of Carbon Dioxide Pellet for Underground Pipe Cleaning 지중 매설관의 세정을 위한 카본 다이옥사이드 펠릿의 현장 적용성 검토

Abstract

In this study, a new cleaning method using carbon dioxide pellet in the part of underground pipe cleaning method was proposed and verified. First of all, the commentary of The Society for Protective Coatings was examined in detail to determine the quantitative cleaning effects. Also, field tests were carried out to confirm the application of the new method. In the test, the surface condition of inner pipe after the application of the new method was investigated and two types of nozzles were compared in the tests. Also, the tests to measure the final impact pressure of air and carbon dioxide pellet mixtures were performed to investigate the losses of air pressure were investigated. Through this verification on the new method, it was found that the new method is very efficient for the removal of the rust in the pipe cleaning works. Also, the nozzle with excellent cleaning effect was also selected. As a result, this method will be able to largely contribute to the recycling of CO2 which is limited to the use as a cooling agent or the storage of waste.

본 연구에서는 지중 매설관의 새로운 세정공법으로 개발된 카본 다이옥사이드 펠릿을 이용한 분사 세정공법의 현장 적용성을 검토하였다. 이를 위해 우선적으로 미국 철강도금도장위원회에서 제안하고 있는 관 세정 전후에 관한 시방내용들을 조사하고 이를 기초로 하여 본 공법의 금속표면 처리기준을 선정하였으며 임의의 녹이 슨 관을 대상으로 카본 다이옥사이드 분사세정의 현장시험을 수행하고 세정도가 선정기준에 부합되는지를 검토하였다. 또한, 모양을 달리한 2가지의 노즐시스템이 적용되어 분사압에 따른 세정효과가 분석되었으며 각 노즐시스템에 대해서 최종 충격량 계측시험을 수행하여 공기압 대비 최종 분사압 의 압력손실을 검토하였다. 연구결과, 제안된 공법은 미국철강도금위원회에서 규정하고 있는 수준을 상회하는 세정효과가 있음을 확인하였으며 노즐 비교실험으로부터 세정효과가 우수한 노즐도 선정되었다. 이로부터 카본 다이옥사이드 펠릿을 이용 한 관 세정공은 완전탈락수준에 이르는 관 세정효과를 기대할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 냉각제로의 이용 등에 국한되는 이산화탄소 재활용 부분의 활성화에 크게 기여할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
