About This Journal
Aim and Scope
The Korean Geosynthetics Society (KGSS) is a professional organization formed to promote empirical and theoretical research in and applications of geosynthetics within Korea as well as the interchange of information related to geosynthetics with other associations throughout the world towards an international achievement of these aims. This journal opens a new era for the publication of geosynthetics research article wether in Korean or English, covering geotextiles, geogrids, geonets, geomembranes, geosynthetic clay liners, geofoam, Geocells, and geocomposites. Every related stuff including Foundations, Footings, Gravity walls, Excavation shoring, and Compaction opens a new era as well. It was launched in 2002 and the abbreviated title is ‘J. Korean Geosynth. Soc.’. We are published quarterly in March, June, September, and December each year.
All of the manuscripts are peer-reviewed. Total or part of the articles in this journal are abstracted in DBpia(http://www.dbpia.co.kr/) and Google scholar(http://scholar.google.com). Full text is freely available from: http://journal.kgss.or.kr/ and http://www.kgss.or.kr/. For subscription of printed journals, please contact the office of the Korean Geosynthetics Society. Member of the society can receive the print copies for free. This journal was supported by the Korean Federation of Science(KOFST) and Technology Societies Grant funded by the Korean Government(MEST).

Submitted manuscripts that are possibly publicated in the Journal should not working in fully published elsewhere. Information for submission of manuscripts can be found on the KGSS website (www.kgss.or.kr).
Manuscripts for review should be submitted in electronic form only to the KGSS secretariat (kgss-adm@kgss.or.kr).
